Given the growing threat posed by distributed denial-of-service attacks, building an effective risk mitigation strategy is more important than ever, says Andy Ng, CEO at Nexusguard.
"With the growth of 5G, we expect anywhere between 15 to 20 billion IoT devices by 2025. This is an incredible opportunity for these devices to be compromised and subsumed into botnets" to be used in DDoS attacks, he says.
